Becoming your child’s external regulator for conflict resolution:

As children work through the challenges and conflicts in their lives, learning how to self-regulate is a requirement for effective conflict resolution.  However, children aren’t born understanding how to self-regulate and navigate challenges well.  The capacity for self-regulation is learned over time and often relies on the adults around them.  This 1.5 hour presentation will help parents begin to understand what it takes to help their children increase their self-regulation and navigate the waters of conflict that they will inevitably face as they grow up.
