Join Lisa in London for this one-day training on Integrating Aggression and Intensity in Play Therapy: A Neurobiological Approach!

In play therapy settings, manifestations of aggression and intensity can vary widely, presenting unique challenges. These expressions may manifest as physical aggression or verbal outbursts towards objects or the therapist. Additionally, intense play themes such as death, violence, or destruction may emerge in the child’s play narratives, reflecting underlying emotional turmoil and unresolved trauma.

This workshop will take therapists to new possibilities while understanding aggression and death play from a neurobiological perspective and a Synergetic Play Therapy lens.  With the help of neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology, therapists will learn how to effectively work with this type of play in a way that supports nervous system regulation, repatterning of the child’s autonomic activation patterns and decreases compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma.

Hosted by Nscience UK on November 1st from 10:00 am – 5:30 pm, London UK
